Learn how to Hem your Pants

Bring your own jeans - or other pants!

Altering and mending your clothing is an important part of creating a sustainable wardrobe. Bring in your thrift finds or pieces that have been sitting in your closet awaiting hemming. Bring in 1-3 garments that need work. How many you complete will depend on project difficulty, fabric type and skill level. This is a fun class where you can build some skills and be inspired by what others are working on.

You will need:

  • Bring your own jeans - or mid-weight pants!
  • Thread to match your clothing items (we will have some for sale here too!)
  • Sewing machine with a standard pressure foot (don't forget your power cord/foot pedal)
